Leadership
RTPark is structured as a public corporation and autonomous instrumentality of the USVI government, and our governance closely follows US corporate best practices. Our leadership reflects the nature of our stakeholders. RTPark is managed by a Chief Executive Officer – our Executive Director – who in turn reports to a 7-member Board of Directors. The composition of the Board is defined in VIC Title 17 Chapter 34 S. 485, and includes the Chair of the UVI Board of Trustees, the President of UVI, and two additional UVI Trustees selected by their peers. In addition, three directors are appointed by the Governor of the USVI.
Our Board is served by three standing committees: our Executive Committee, Finance and Audit Committee, and Real Estate Administration Committee. Each plays an active and vital role in overseeing various elements of RTPark operations and governance.
Our financial statements are audited annually by Ernst & Young, and we are subject to additional financial oversight by the USVI Legislature as well as various other government agencies. UVI’s Chief Financial Officer serves ex-officio as RTPark’s Treasurer.
The expertise of RTPark’s leaders enables us to serve the needs of our stakeholders while demonstrating our commitment to the “thought leadership” so crucial to the Knowledge-Based Businesses we were chartered to serve. From educators to change agents to entrepreneurs to executives well versed in capital markets, our leaders have the skills and the expertise to help RTPark, your business and the USVI economy succeed.
